Location Data (Foreground Only): With your permission, the App accesses your device's precise (GPS) or approximate location only while the App is open and in use. This is used to find nearby parking spots and display them on the map. The App does not access your location in the background when it is closed or not in use.
Network/Internet Access: The App uses your device's internet connection to load map tiles and retrieve live parking data. We check network connectivity status to ensure the App functions correctly.
QuickSpot Live Parking does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, or phone number, and does not access contacts, photos, or files on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
To show real-time parking availability near your current location
To display your position on the map and nearby parking spots
To load map tiles and connect to our servers for live parking data
Your location data is used only in real time to serve your request and is not stored on our servers after your session ends, unless required for basic app functionality (such as remembering your last searched area on your own device).
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information only in these cases:
Map Service Providers: The App uses OpenStreetMap (OSM) tile servers to display maps. Your approximate location may be sent to these servers solely to load the correct map area, subject to OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.
4. Location Permissions
QuickSpot Live Parking requests access to your device's location to function properly. You can enable or disable location permissions at any time through your device settings. Disabling location access may limit or prevent core features of the App from working.
5. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
